Affiliate disclosure
How this site earns money, and the specific ways we keep that from bending the advice.
The disclosure
Singapore Tickets Guide participates in the Headout affiliate programme. When you follow a booking link, button or product tile on this site and complete a purchase, we may receive a commission from Headout.
You pay the same price. The commission is paid by Headout out of its own margin. Following an affiliate link never increases what a ticket costs you.
How to spot an affiliate link
Every outbound booking link on this site:
- carries
rel="nofollow sponsored"in its markup, the standard signal that a link is commercial; - passes through a redirect on this domain that begins
/go/, which is disallowed to search engines in our robots.txt; - opens in a new tab, so you keep the guide open behind it.
Links to operator websites — the "Official site" link in every Quick Summary table, and the sources cited in the text — are not affiliate links and earn us nothing. They exist so you can verify what we have written.
What we do to stop the money bending the advice
This is the part that matters, so it is specific rather than a promise.
Ticket comparison tables are ordered by price, not by commission. The lowest listed option is marked as such, regardless of what it pays.
Free options get equal billing. Garden Rhapsody, the Sentosa beaches, the Botanic Gardens grounds and the outdoor gardens at Gardens by the Bay all earn us nothing, and all appear in the guides with the same prominence as ticketed attractions.
We say when not to buy. Pages tell you when an Express Pass is a waste of money on a quiet weekday, when a multi-attraction pass does not break even, and when the cheapest way to reach an attraction is to walk. Those sentences cost us commission and they stay in.
Resident rates are published. Singapore residents pay materially less at several attractions, and those rates are usually not bookable through resellers. We publish them anyway.
Prices are labelled with a source and a date. Official gate prices are attributed to the operator. Live reseller prices carry the date they were last checked. Neither is presented as a deal it is not.
Why Headout
Headout is an authorised reseller for the attractions listed on this site, which means bookings made through it are valid at the gate. We use a single partner rather than several so that price data on the site comes from one consistent source with one refresh date, rather than a mix that would be impossible to keep straight.
That is a practical choice, not an endorsement of Headout over every alternative. Klook, Trip.com, Pelago and the operators' own websites all sell the same tickets, and on any given day one of them may be cheaper. If saving a few dollars matters more to you than convenience, check two or three before booking — including the operator's own site, which sometimes runs promotions resellers do not get.
Questions
Write to support@singaporetickets.guide if anything here is unclear, or if you think a page is pushing a product harder than the facts justify. That is a fair complaint and we will look at it.
